Yes, here I am, asking for your help.

Currently me and are 20 pages through the fabled issue #9 of The Uniques. Usually when hitting that point we'd be about finished...but since this is a 53 page issue we're less than half-way through, and it's taking a toll on our Fightin' Flatsmen.

We don’t want anybody burning themselves out for us, so we’re reaching out to try and find more people to help us with color separations. So what we're asking is if there are more people who, out of the kindness of their hearts would be able to do a few pages to help us out.

What you'd be doing for us is separating out all the colors on a page with the magic of Photoshop. We'd give you reference for the characters and backgrounds and you'd take it from there.

If you don't quite know how to do this process I'd be more then happy to help teach you if you can lend a hand.

Here’s the sticking point, though - we have no money to pay for any services rendered. We can barely keep ourselves fed, let alone support anyone else since this comic is made by us and only us. Because of that, though, we wouldn’t ask anyone to do more than a few pages for us at the most and we’ll give full in-book credit for all color separators (look in other issues of The Uniques to see the credits and on the website [link] and you’ll find full bios of all our Flatsmen). We know we can’t offer much, but we’re trying to mitigate the work any single person would be doing so that it won’t be a huge project for anybody.

Hello everyone!

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up that me and will be doing a big presentation at Kendall College next Monday (October 19th). We'll be talking about comics, the business of comics, and how to make comics.

We'll be in room 707 on the 7th floor. And we'll be speaking from 2:00pm - 5:30pm. For all our former students, we'll be there fairly early so if you want to come and hang out please do.
