So here it is, finally - my Star Wars: Clone Wars pin-up. That hopefully does justice to the best thing to come out of the prequels - Cartoon Network’s Clone Wars cartoon.

*phew* It took a lot of stolen artistic time to get here, but it was worth it. I don’t usually like doing these big sprawling posters because I find it really hard to get across an overarching idea or series in one piece. I’d really rather do comic pages, but they don’t sell too well at cons sadly.

But, that being said I’m ultra happy with this piece - and I thank my friend Matt Franklin for lending me his Clone Wars DVD’s for the last month and a half or so. Some of the key elements you see are things like the cave drawing that made up Anakin’s first vision of himself as Darth Vader - Durge and Grievous are in the top corners, Aayla Secura and Ki-Adi-Mundi lead the charge with the clone troopers, and Shaak Ti, Ki-Adi-Mundi , and Roron Corobb are running with the Chancellor Palpatine in the bottom right corner. Anakin, Padmé and Ventress make up the main top three characters - with Obi-Wan below them…and rounding out the last of the poster is Mace and Yoda in the bottom left corner.

I hope you guys all enjoy this as much I did making it.
